Welcome to the Australian School of Cairo (ASC), a preschool to Year 12 international English school opening its preschool and first primary Years in September, 2009.

Australian education is "tied for second". Only Finland has been shown to produce better results. This speaks well for Australian teachers and cirrucula and we are bringing both to Egypt.

We aim to form small class size schools in 6th of October City, the New Cairo area and Alexandria.

ASC shall start small. We envisage opening our 6th of October City Early Learning Centre (preschool) and Years 1 to 3 in September 2009, adding Years according to parents' needs in this rapidly growing part of greater Cairo.

We are planning our schools with our eyes on the vibrant Middle Eastern / Mediterranean economy emerging so rapidly in Egypt today and upon parents’ desires for their children to compete successfully for prestigious international university enrolments, something that an Australian High School Certificate, good High School marks and strong entrance exam results commonly achieve for Australian students.

There shall be a strong Arabic and Islamic Studies Program so that our Middle Eastern students leave our school with good literacy in Standard Arabic. There shall be a strong  Arabic Language Program for our international students who do not first come to us speaking and reading Arabic.
