Welcome to the Australian School of Cairo (ASC), a preschool to Year 12 international English school opening its first Years in September, 2009.

We are aiming to form a small class size school in Cairo with Australian certified teachers and other teachers who are also native speakers of English with an Australian background.

ASC shall start small and grow according to parents’ wishes. We shall open our Early Learning and Centre (preschool) and Years 1 to 3 in September 2009, adding Year 4 in September 2010, Year 5 in September 2011 and so on until graduating our first Year 12s in 2019. Our graduates will receive Australian High School Certificates.

We are planning for our “Class of 2019” with our eyes on the vibrant Middle Eastern / Mediterranean economy emerging so rapidly in Egypt today and upon parents’ desires for their children to compete successfully for prestigious international university enrolments and intakes.

There shall be a strong Arabic and Islamic Studies Program so that our Middle Eastern students leave our school with good literacy in Standard Arabic. There shall be a strong  Arabic Language Program for our international students who do not first come to us speaking and reading Arabic.
